Christmas in Italy!
In Italy Christmas is 24 December to 6 January. Santa Claus is called Babbo Natale witch in English is called Father Christmas. In Italy people start decorating the city from 8th of December. In Italy people eat meat on Christmas eve. In Italy there are 2 instruments that are played often on Christmas eve: Bagpipes and Flutes. Traditional outfit on Christmas eve in Italy is colorful, there are sheepskin vests, long white stockings and dark cloaks. The most popular cities that are visited in Italy on Christmas are Nepal and Rome, in Rome there are big Christmas markets, Nativity displays and several huge Christmas trees. Italy is recognized because of the biggest Christmas tree in the whole world(over 800 meters tall). The tree is made from over four hundred and fifty lights. In the top of the tree there is a star. You can recognize the star that's on the top of the tree for almost 50 kilometers. The tree is putted up every year on the 7th of December. Children on Christmas eve are going from house to house, to sing Christmas songs and poems. People give Children money to buy their selves a present. In Italy there is very important to retain the traditions of Christmas.
